DREAM HOME GYM came to be in May 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. We decided to build our very own home gyms since all commercial and private gyms were closed. The process of ordering gym equipment, waiting for it to arrive, and assembling it was tedious. Nonetheless, the joy of having a space at home to workout was indescribable. We soon had friends and co-workers dedicated to their personal fitness asking for our help to build their own home gyms.

Our goal is to provide our clients with a customized exercise space in the comfort of their own homes. DREAM HOME GYM is a one-stop-shop location for building your very own home gym. We work within your budget and fitness style to design your home gym. With over 15 years working in the fitness industry, our team has extensive experience delivering beautifully designed and fully functional exercise spaces.

We get our exercise equipment from Canada's top fitness equipment providers. Once the client decides on the exercise equipment they want in their home, we pick up and deliver the equipment. We also install and set up the workout space. Finally, we have a maintenance option so that clients can always reach out to us if any issues arise.

Adam Jongsma

An athlete from birth, Adam went to Wilfrid Laurier University for soccer and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. From here he began a career as a Kinesiologist and Strength and Conditioning Specialist visiting, working and training in some of the top training facilities in the world. This experience brought awareness to what works both functionally and aesthetically in these environments enabling him to scale the commercial gym experience into the convenience and comfort of home.

In 2020, Adam designed and built his company studio from the ground up in his basement, sparking his desire to make people's home gym dreams a reality. Adam understands that fitness and the home are both very personal. Collaborating with clients, he combines his passion for exercise and an exceptional eye for gym design to provide clients with a personalized, one-of-a-kind dream home gym.
